We collaborated with influential surfboard shaper to create some
extremely limited edition new boards.

We¹re so proud that these boards combine great visual design and great
surf performance, and we¹re event prouder that they¹re supporting great
charities that provide social and environmental benefits at two of the
best places to surf in the world,² said Robert August.
The 13th Annual Robert August ³Surf and Turf² Charity Challenge in Costa
Rica marked the debut and launch of these exclusive boards. We sponsored
this three-day event, March 29th through March 31st
Two boards were showcased during ³Surf and Turf.² 100% of the proceeds
from the event (which raised more than $30,000) will be donated to CEPIA,
a Costa Rica-based nonprofit organization that improves the quality of
life of children and adolescents from poor backgrounds in Costa Rica. One
board was donated to CEPIA for use in their surf education programs, and
a second board was auctioned off at the event¹s closing dinner, with the
August family, Mary Osborne, and other surf notables in attendance.
Closer to home, Paul Frank will be a sponsor of the upcoming May 17th
³Bring Back the Beach² fundraiser for local ocean protection organization
Heal the Bay. One of the extremely limited production boards will be
auctioned off to Heal the Bay supporters as part of the annual gala
honoring Matt Hart, Danny Moder and Julia Roberts and Amy Smart.
The boards will also be part of the 2nd annual Paul Frank mobile tour
this summer, and we¹ll be giving away one of these extremely rare boards
through Paul Frank¹s online community this summer.

Rise Against, known not only for their unique punk sound, but for their
politically-driven lyrics, decided to let us Paul Frankiphy their guitars!
We applied our one-of-a-kind Paul Frank custom graphics to Tim's Gibson SG-3 and Joe's American Fender Pbass. We aren't sure yet, but think that the band might have found a replacement for Tim.
His daughter was so taken with the guitar's new look that she started playing like a pro! Rise Against are in the midst of writing and recording the follow up to The Sufferer and The Witness. Check out RiseAgainst.com for more information.
WALTER SCHREIFELS' NEW CUSTOM PAUL FRANK FENDER ACOUSTIC GUITAR
Paul Frank has been known to customize guitars with special graphics for our special friends – and when we had the opportunity to work on one for Walter Schreifels (Walters myspace)of Gorilla Biscuits fame we couldn't resist. But, instead of just shipping it to him in Berlin via FedEx International we thought it would be better to ship it Chris Lisk Express. In addition to GB, Walter has played in Youth of Today, Quicksand and Rival Schools. He's now working on a solo project and is a proud new dad. With great inspiration in a such an artistically innovative city we know Walter's latest endeavor will be nothing short of miraculous.
